Almost Cooked!

My babies have grown so much in the past few weeks it has surprised me beyond belief! The doctors are extremely impressed as to how well I've carried these little ones. Today's ultrasound revealed their weights between 4 3/4 lbs- 5 lbs @ 32.4 wks along! Wow! That's a lot of baby in there! Plus, they have hair... haha Baby A has the most and Baby C has the least. I guess the old wives tale of heartburn has fit this bill.

I'm getting quite uncomfortable as the days tick on by which makes sense as there is almost 15 lbs of baby in my belly! But if I can make it a couple more weeks than the girls will likely be very well off once they arrive in this world. I can't help but wish that I am done though. Some days my beach ball belly is just too much for me to handle. Soon I will get to meet my little bundles of joy. What a day that will be!!!

Move almost complete

Well, we finally made it into our new house this past weekend. However, with a few loose ends to complete at our old place I feel like we're not completely moved over yet. I guess that's what happens when there's no real need to be out of our old place. The girls are growing well and have almost reached the 2 lb mark. Baby A was 824g, Baby B 783g and Baby C 741g as of Friday March 27. On Friday I was 24 wks 4 days pregnant. So it doesn't look like I will be on bedrest in the very near future. Yay!

Intrigued by bloggers

Well, today marks day one of blogging. I've never had a blog before but after perusing several other triplet blogs I found myself wanting to document my triplet pregnancy and give me something to do if I end up on bedrest. At the moment I am currently off work from teaching fashion to junior high students. I am thoroughly enjoying just being able to stay at home and help Chris with whatever he needs. Oh and we're almost ready to move into our new house so I guess I should also think about packing some more one of these days... But with being 24 weeks pregnant with our triplet girls I would rather just relax, read books and play online rather than pack. Good thing my mom is always willing to come by and pack stuff up for me! Everyone says don't do life changing things like move houses while you are pregnant but... hey we seem to like to do things all at once! Instant family, house upgrade, oh and that's right don't forget that we need a new vehicle. I really don't think my Mazda 3 will accomodate 3 car seats, a triplet stroller and a chocolate lab! So the hunt continues for the perfect non-minivan vehicle for our expanding family.

On another note, who knew picking names for kids could be sooooo difficult! Not to mention that after 7 years of teaching there are many names I would NEVER name my own child. But girls names seem to have less of a lasting negative stigma than some of the boys I've taught.

Well... that's all for now. Our next ultrasound is this upcoming Friday so it will be interesting to see how much our girls have grown in the past two weeks.
